The nursery team are more focused, with clear understanding of what it is we want to provide to our families and the children we care for. We invest in our team, continuing to support them with ongoing training opportunities and guiding their practice. As we grow we will be recruiting new colleagues to join our team. Each new colleague will receive a detailed induction to the nursery. Finally, our observation, assessment, planning structure has been updated. This will now provide you with more detailed and frequent information on your child's development in order for us to identify areas in which they excel and areas which require more nurturing. You will receive a minimum of 2 assessments per term outlining your child's development. The assessments will primarily consist of photographs of your child on their learning journey and a brief outline of what they are learning/ have learned over the previous weeks. Each assessment will also detail your child's level of development alongside the EYFS framework. This is what will allow us to track their overall development and guide our planning for them..
